Creating a Whole New You

Are there goals that you want to achieve? Are there dreams that you want to reach for? Do you want to build the life of your dreams now?

It only takes 30 days to build new habits, to have a new, healthier, happier, more aligned lifestyle. If you really apply yourself to building these habits, starting now, then by next month you could be a whole new you.

Getting Started

Before you can make the changes that you want to make in your life, you have to have a clear vision of the things that you want out of life. So, take some time and journal it out. Write down exactly how you want your life to be. Write it in the present tense, as if you have already achieved it.

This is how you set your intentions according to the Law of Attraction. Like attracts like. Your thoughts create your reality. That means, whatever you spend your time thinking about is what is going to manifest in your life.

After you write out your dream life, you can also make a vision board. Get some magazines, a big poster board, and make a picture of exactly how you want your life to look. Exactly how you want to look. How you want to feel, and how you want to be.

Get excited and have some fun with it!

And, if you aren't crafty, you can do a Pinterest vision board instead, like I did this year, since I didn't have magazines lying around the house.

Set Your Goals

Once you have your vision set your goals. This is the best way to achieve what you want out of life, so that you are super clear on the new habits that you want to form.

You can set your goals using the SMART Goals framework:

  • Specific

  • Measurable/ Meaningful

  • Achievable/ As if now

  • Realistic

  • Time Bound

When you set your goals this way, it helps you to be more able to achieve them easily. One of the main reasons that goals fail is that you don't make them specific enough, the other is setting too many goals at once.

It is usually best to tackle 3-4 goals at once, across different areas of your life. This way, you don't get burned out and feel like you are making a huge change that isn't sustainable.

If you start small, you can gradually work up to bigger and better goals, that will improve your life tremendously!

Making your goals measurable means that you use a metric. For example, "I do 10 push ups daily." Or, "I eat 5 vegetables daily." This way, you will easily know exactly what you need to do, and if you have achieved it.

It is also important to have a goal that is meaningful to you, so that you will want to work towards it every day. If it isn't meaningful, then you will just set the goal and forget about it.

Goals also need to be achievable. That means, it shouldn't be too difficult to achieve. If you want to lose 30 pounds, don't make it your goal to lose the weight by tomorrow. Give yourself some time. Break it down into smaller chunks, like 3 pounds a week, for example.

As if now means to write the goals as if they are in the present. So instead of saying "I will lose 30 pounds" say, "I weigh [goal weight] now." This way, you get your subconscious mind believing that the goal has already been achieved, and your mind will work to make it happen for you. This is how you hack your subconscious mind, much like with Law of Attraction for setting your vision.

Realistic means that the goal is possible. You don't want to set a goal if you know you are going to fail. For example, being the first person on Mars in 30 days or climbing Mount Everest in an hour. You need to make sure that the goal is possible before you set it.

You could go to Mars or climb Everest, but there are probably other goals you need to tackle first, like getting a science degree or climbing a series of smaller peaks.

The final element of goal setting is for it to be time bound. This means, you give yourself a deadline to meet the goal. So in the as if now framework you would say, "I weigh [goal weight] on June 30, 2023." Or, "I climbed Everest on March 5, 2024."

This way, you are giving yourself a very concrete picture of what you are going to do, how you are going to do it, and when you are going to do it. This will make achieving your goal that much easier!

Using Law Of Attraction to hack your mindset

Once you have set your goals and started working towards them, you can also hack into your subconscious mind so that you will be more motivated and excited about your goals, and more able to make them come into reality.

Using Law of Attraction affirmations daily is a great way to help you get the right mindset to achieve your goals.

According to Gratitude Blog, here are some examples:

  1. I am receiving abundance in expected and unexpected ways.

  2. I am increasingly confident in my ability to create the life I desire.

  3. I am acting on inspiration and insights and I trust my inner guidance.

  4. I am giving and receiving all that is good and all that I desire.

  5. I am receiving infinite, inexhaustible, and immediate abundance.

  6. I am creating my life according to my dominant beliefs, and I am improving the quality of those beliefs.

  7. I say thank you for all the wonderful blessings in my life.

  8. I wake up each morning with a grateful heart and an open mind.

  9. I attract positive circumstances and positive people into my life.

  10. I believe in myself and my own willpower.

Also, my favorite affirmation lately is: Everything is always working out for me.

You can use any of these positive affirmations on a daily basis to help you get in the right mindset to manifest your goals, as you work on taking daily actions to make them a reality.

Conclusion

If you get clear on your vision, set goals aligned to your vision, and work on your mindset, there is nothing that you won't be able to achieve in this life. You can create a whole new you, and a whole new life this way.

I wish you all the best, my lovelies! May all your dreams come true!
