Daily Affirmation

Daily Affirmation: I make time each day for self-care and doing things that I love.

We only have one life to live, so we need to make sure we are living each day to the fullest.

Taking time to do something that you enjoy, and making time for self-care is a critical part of living your best life.

The happier you are, the healthier you will be. This applies to mental, physical and spiritual health. So ideally, you should be taking care of all these aspects of yourself, if not each day, sometime during the week.

Take time for practices like mindfulness, meditation, yoga, journaling, gratitude and spending time in nature. All of these can refresh you in numerous ways.

Think about the times that you are the happiest. What do all of these have in common? Is it a place, the people you are with or what you are doing?

Find the common threads that weave through all of your happiest moments, then do what you can to increase these things in your life.

In order to make time and space in your life for the things that feed your soul, it is important to set boundaries, and say no to things that aren't serving you.

Life is about creating balance. Take care of what you are truly responsible, and make time for what you enjoy. If you spend all your time doing things you don't truly want to do, you are just going to end up unhappy.
