Daily Affirmations

Daily Affirmations: I am safe in my body. I am safe in my home. I am safe in my relationships.

As humans, safety is one of our most basic needs. When we feel unsafe, we live from a place of fear instead of a place of love.

Living a fear-based life causes us to do things without carefully thinking them through. We constantly feel backed into a corner. This activates our fight or flight response.

When you live this way for a long time, it is known as living in survival mode. We aren't thinking, we aren't planning, we aren't being intentional.

In order to live in a more intentional way that is in alignment with our beliefs, it is important to create a safe space for ourselves.

Safety is both physical and emotional. We need to know that we aren't going to be damaged in our surroundings.

When we truly feel safe, we are able to relax. We have space to consider things carefully. We can act with intention, instead of just reacting to circumstances beyond our control.

Creating a peaceful home is a beginning of creating safety for ourselves. We know what to expect. We have somewhere that we belong.

Knowing that you are safe allows you to connect back to your heart, and to your inner wisdom and strength. You have more energy for things you want to do, instead of using it all on survival.

Take some time to think about what you need to do to find safety in your own life. Journal it out or do a meditation session.

Once you are clear on what you need, you will begin to be able to make a plan for the future.
