Every week we need some time to rest and recharge. Sundays are a great time for resting and taking time for self-care before we start into the business of a new week.
What do you do for self-care? Do you allow yourselves time to rest and recharge?
Rest is just as important as activity. Our bodies need time to to recover from all that we do to work towards our goals.
We need to take care of ourselves, so that we will be healthy and well. Taking care of ourselves includes rest and self-care.
This morning I started the day with yoga, and now I am doing affirmations. You can also meditate, take mindful moments, journal, watch a favorite show, read a book or call a friend. Or, you can throw in some bath bombs in the tub and relax with a cup of coffee or tea.
Anything that makes you feel relaxed is going to help you go into the new week feeling energized.
Then, tonight you can meal plan or organize your calendar for the upcoming week so that you will be prepared for all that is coming.
