Daily Positive Affirmations. I release my limiting beliefs.
Limiting beliefs can hold us back from living a full life. If we don't believe we deserve good things, often we will self-sabotage good things that come into our lives. We have to believe that we are worthy of good in order to accept good into our lives.
If we have a limiting belief about relationships, then we won't be able to maintain stable relationships. Or, if we have limiting beliefs about our finances, then we will always be running short of money.
We act in accordance with our beliefs, and that is why limiting beliefs can be so dangerous. We have a tendency to find situations in life that confirm our beliefs. So when we think badly about ourselves, we will find things and people to confirm those beliefs.
Releasing limiting beliefs allows us to choose new and more positive beliefs. Thinking well of ourselves allows us to have a more happy and full life.
Daily Positive Affirmations. I am worthy of abundance.
In order to live an abundant life, we first have to believe that we are worthy. When we believe that we are unworthy of a good life, often we will self-sabotage when something good is coming our way. This can be true of relationships, jobs, or anything else.
For a long time, I didn't believe that I was worthy of love, or of having good things happen to me. That made me settle for relationships where people treated me badly. I accepted their need for me instead of waiting for a relationship where I could have real love. Believing we are unworthy of love makes us sell ourselves short.
I made a shift after my divorce when I decided that I wanted a relationship with someone who was nice to me every day. I found a relationship like that much sooner than I expected too.
We have to change our thinking to be able to change our lives. Believing that we are truly worthy of good things in our lives is one of the first steps towards that kind of abundant life.
You may have heard of the Law of Attraction and how thoughts create our reality. This might sound like magical mumbo jumbo. Really it isn't. What it means is that, in neuroscience, there are so many things bombarding our minds all the time, we can't possibly notice it all. There is both good and bad around us all the time. It just depends what we decide to focus on, and what to notice.
We can decide to notice the good things, or the bad things. When we spend more time thinking about good things, then we will be able to follow a happier path through life. It isn't so much about creating things through some magical thinking, but noticing what was there all the time.
Let me know if you want me to write more about the law of attraction, or abut the scientific basis.
Be well my lovelies.
