Daily positive affirmations. I accept myself fully.
Self acceptance is the first step towards self love. When you accept yourself, flaws and all, it helps you to be kinder to yourself. It also allows you to live in a more intentional way.
I found that when I started accepting my mental health issues, and that I might always have panic attacks no matter what I do, I felt more calm. Accepting my shortcomings as a part of who I am helped me begin to find inner peace. Instead of fighting against myself, I started to embrace myself. That opened me up to feeling more whole. I realize that the parts of myself that I didn't like aren't bad. They simply are.
Acceptance allows us to be who we are, without feeling ashamed.
I hope that you can also learn to accept yourself fully, and find the peace that comes with that.
