When you open your heart, and allow yourself to be vulnerable, it allows love and compassion to flow inside and fill you. It is the boundless love that is the true essence of who we are. Love can bless our lives in so many ways.


There is the love we have for ourselves, romantic love, and the love we have for children and friends. As that love radiates outwards, it becomes compassion for everyone around the world.


I have always thought of compassion as love combined with kindness. It is love that allows us to be open, honest and forgiving. We give others the benefit of the doubt. We realize that everyone is suffering and extend them grace.


This is a type of love that allows us to expand our hearts and our minds.


I hope that you can open your hearts to love and compassion today, and feel the brightness of that love filling you. I hope that love can bring you peace, joy and laughter.
