Daily Positive Affirmations. I am compassionate with myself. I forgive my mistakes.
Forgiveness and compassion for yourself are so important. Often as moms and caretakers, we are compassionate and forgiving with those around us, but forget to extend those same courtesies to ourselves.
We don't have to put ourselves last place in our lives. Caring for ourselves is important. Just as important as caring for kids or other family members.
Taking time for yourself is so important. Doing things to meet our own needs isn't selfish.
In the same way, forgiving ourselves for not being perfect, extending compassion to ourselves is important. No one can be perfect.
When we keep trying to be perfect, we are always fighting an uphill battle. We are never going to get there. All we are going to get is burnt out.
We need to set the same expectations for ourselves that we set for others. That is treating ourselves with compassion.
You don't need to be perfect. You are lovely just as you are. You are worthy just as you are. You deserve goodness from life.
Beating ourselves up about not being perfect is just creating a wealth of problems.
Today, I hope that you can extend yourself compassion and forgiveness. That is the beginning of self-love.
