Taking care of yourself, mind, body and spirit, is the best way to create a happier life.


It is hard to feel happy if we aren't healthy, so our wellness is a key aspect of our overall happiness.


Fitting in healthy habits like proper eating, sleep, drinking enough water, exercise, meditation, journaling or yoga are all great ways to take care of yourself.


The more you become a healthy and whole person, the more you can heal from the past and reduce your overall stress levels.


Your health and happiness are very connected to your stress level. When you work on good health behaviors, it can reduce your stress level in exponential ways.


It may seem like a daunting task to get your health or your stress level under control.


Try just focusing on one thing at a time. Start with something easy, like drinking more water, or taking a walk during your lunch hour. You will be surprised how much better you feel if you do it every day for a couple of weeks.


By narrowing your focus to something small, you are setting yourself up for an easy win.


Then, you can build on your progress and work on another easy habit, once the first has become a part of your routine.


Setting small goals for yourself, and being able to achieve them will help your self esteem too. It shows you that you are able to commit to a new, healthy habit.


Forming healthy habits and a healthy lifestyle takes time. Be gentle with yourself as you implement these changes.


Changing your life isn't easy, that is why so many people walk around unhappy all the time. It is why so many people are stressed.


Learning habits to improve your health and happiness will reduce your stress.


You have already taken the first step by reading these affirmations. Now, just repeat them to yourself a few times. Get those positive messages into your brain.
