In life, we are defined more by our choices than anything else. Choosing peace and patience can enrich your life, and help to create a positive mindset.


Remember, life is a constant unfolding. You are constantly growing and changing. Embrace these changes with a peaceful heart, and be patient with yourself along the way.


We can change our circumstances, but it does take time. That is why patience with the process is so important.


It took me into my late 30's to learn a little bit of patience, and it has made a big difference in my life.


When we are impatient, or constantly in a hurry, it can be discouraging not to see results come as quickly as we would like them to.


This puts us into a constant loop of stress and hurrying. We feel like there isn't enough time to accomplish all that we need to do.


As we learn to be more patient with ourselves, to slow down, it is easier to have a clear mind to approach the tasks that need to be completed.


We learn that our whole to-do list can't be completed in one day, and that is normal and to be expected.


Narrow your focus each day to 2-3 things that you would like to complete, and schedule them into your day. That way you can be productive, and still be gentle with yourself.


It is when we expect too much too fast that we often get into the feeling that we have failed. We haven't really failed, we just sometimes have unrealistic expectations of what can be done.


Having a well of inner peace to tap into amidst the chaos helps us take a step back from our tendency to hurry too much. It helps reduce our stress level.


There is an old zen saying, "meditate for 5 minutes every day, unless you don't have time, then meditate for an hour."


Creating that inner sense of peace and space for yourself is more valuable than anything you can do in the outer world. It allows you to approach your life from a place of peace and patience.


The more you can cultivate that inner sense of peace, the happier you will be.
