If you aren't familiar with the law of attraction, it is a philosophy suggesting that positive thoughts bring positive results into a person's life, while negative thoughts bring negative outcomes.
Creating a positive mindset is key toward creating a more positive and happy life.
We learn to focus on all the good things in our life through gratitude. The more grateful you are for what you have, the more you will be focusing on all the goodness that life has to offer.
Changing your mindset is about shifting your focus. When you only look at the bad in things, you aren't going to notice the goodness all around you.
This is called confirmation bias. No one can possibly notice everything. So, we notice the things that confirm our beliefs, and ignore the rest.
As we start to create more positive beliefs for ourselves, and shift our mindset through gratitude, we begin to notice that there is goodness all around us.
The secret is, the goodness was always there, we just didn't see it because of our negative thinking bias.
In addition to using gratitude, we can also shift our mindset through using affirmations, doing yoga, meditation, mindfulness, or journaling.
Creative pursuits, and things that bring joy and fun into your life are great too. All of these things help us to create a happier mindset and a more positive life.
