When you are peaceful and loving, it is easier to be kind and gentle both with others and with yourself.
Finding inner peace is less about striving for some kind of perfection, and more about remembering the true nature of what you are.
Your soul is a brilliant, beautiful light. That peace, love and kindness is at the center of what you are. Your essence is love and light.
As you remember who you truly are, and go inward towards that beautiful, loving center, that is where you find inner peace.
It isn't something that we have to search for, or something far away. It is the innermost being that is within all of us.
Sometimes throughout life, we get so bogged down with all the noise in the world that we forget who we truly are.
Years of conditioning weigh us down, they make us less.
Look at little children, and how they are filled with joy. That is our true nature.
The more we can connect with ourselves by going inward, the happier that we will be, day by day.
This can be done through practices like meditation, journaling, mindfulness or yoga. Anything that helps us to be present with ourselves in the moment and tune out the noise outside.
Once you find that calm center inside yourself, you will know that you can come back to it at any time. That peace and love is a part of you.
I hope that with time you will also learn to remember your true selves, and become all that you are truly meant to be.
