Just like you do regular scheduled maintenance on your car, taking time for maintenance on yourself ensures that you are functioning properly.

When you are at your best in terms of your health and wellbeing, it allows you to be at your best for all the things that you need to do.

We aren't robots. We can't keep going indefinitely without rest. Making time to take care of yourself helps you keep being your best.

Self care is an important aspect of self love. Remember, you are worthy and valuable. You deserve to have your needs met.

Be gentle with yourself. Give yourself the same love and compassion that you give to others. You are equally worthy.

Learning self love can be difficult if you have grown up with a strong inner critic, but it is something you can work to overcome with time.

Forgive yourself for your mistakes. Know that you did the best you could with the tools you had at the time. Then, let go and move forward.
