Morning Affirmations: I choose love. I choose peace. I choose kindness.


As we start the new week, be gentle with yourselves. When you choose love, peace and kindness, it helps you to create a positive mindset.


Treat yourself with kindness, and you will find a smile for everyone that you come in contact with as well.


Today is the Mahatma Gandhi's birthday, and the International Day of Non Violence honors his achievements.


As you center yourself in love, peace and kindness from your heart, any violent impulses will fall away. You will feel a deep sense of calm washing over yourself and you will be able to radiate love and compassion into the world.


In order to find that calm center within yourself, you can find some time alone in nature, or you can practice mindfulness, meditation and yoga. You can write in your journal or say affirmations in the mirror.


All of these calming practices can help you feel better about yourself and your life. They prepare your heart for everything that you need to do in life.


Learning to still your mind, and to realize that you are the watcher of your thoughts, will help you to find a deep sense of love and calm within yourself.


Finding this center within yourself allows you to open your heart, your mind, and your life.
