Starting the Year with Gratitude

Today I am grateful for a new year and a new start. I am grateful for the opportunity to refocus on my goals in a different way.
The new year allows us to have a clean slate to think about things differently. We can leave behind our old habits with the old year and focus forward.
What do you want to accomplish this year? What skills and abilities do you already have that will allow you to build the life of your dreams?
Be grateful for those skills, and for the days the came before to prepare you for where you want to go in the future.
You can be grateful for the ability to be a quick learner, that you are resilient, that you are kind or a good friend.
All of these are useful skills that can help you move your life forward.
You can also be grateful for all of the new opportunities coming your way in the new year. There is something good always coming around the corner.
Even if you are in the midst of challenges, there is something to learn from them. We can be grateful for the knowledge that we gain from overcoming these blocks in the road.
