50 Motivational Quotes for Bad Mental Health Days

If you are having a bad mental health day, it can help to say affirmations, or read motivational quotes to feed your brain with positivity. Saying something positive can help to counteract your mind's negative mental bias.

According to Scribbr,

Under negativity bias, we are inclined to internalize negative experiences more deeply, causing us to worry and dwell on small things. For example, we may obsess over a comment we made at a party and later regret or focus on the fact that someone cut in line in front of us. Even if the rest of our day was neutral or positive, these minor incidents can carry a disproportionately large weight and impact our mood.

When we are having a bad day, or our mood is down in the dumps, we are likely to fall into the trap of the negativity bias more than ever. So, it is the times we are struggling the most that we need to try to focus our minds back to something positive.

The more you focus on good outcomes and possibilities instead of on negative things that have happened or that might happen, it improves your outlook on life incredibly!
