Daily Affirmations

Daily Affirmations: I choose love. I choose patience. I choose healing.

At times in life, we have to silently heal from scars inside our hearts that we feel like can never truly be mended.

When you have been through trauma or something similar, choosing love, patience and healing on a daily basis creates inner space for you to move forward in a new direction.

The past doesn't have to predict the future. Nor does the present. You always have a choice to go in a new direction.

When you choose self-love, it can help you to heal, build confidence, and forgive yourself for the past.

Be patient with yourself as your new life is unfolding. It took time to get where you are, and it will take time to get to somewhere else as well.

Actively make an effort to heal. Just like if you have a cut, there are ways to handle an inner wound with care. Each day, show yourself love, compassion and forgiveness.

When you are struggling, narrow your focus. Just think about one thing you can do today that is good for yourself. Then, do that. And celebrate yourself when you meet your goal.

Taking on too much at once can be a recipe for failure. Do a little at a time, so that you can build strength and resilience gradually. This way, you don't burn out.

Remember, caring for yourself is your first responsibility. Take care of your body, your mind, and your spirit. Take time to heal. And most of all, be patient with yourself as your new life unfolds.
