Daily Affirmations: I am strong and confident. I greet the day with energy and hope. I believe in my skills and abilities. I am ready for any challenge.


As we begin this new week, take some time for yourself, to get calm and centered. Revisit your goals and your to-do list, and prioritize what needs to be done.


But first, take some time to get into the right mindset for everything you need to accomplish. Your experience of your life starts with your attitude.


If you believe good things about yourself, like that you are strong, confident and hopeful, it will help you be ready to meet any challenge.


Even when you carefully plan your goals and tasks, things are bound to come up that are unexpected. It is how you handle these unexpected circumstances that will often define your life.


You don't always have control over what happens. But you do have a choice about how to react.


Starting the day with a calm center inside yourself will help you react more gracefully even in difficult situations.


You can cultivate this sense of calm through a good morning routine, by doing things like mindfulness, meditation, yoga, exercise, journaling or practicing gratitude. Taking a quiet moment for yourself in the morning can set up the rest of your day for success.
