Daily Affirmations: I choose peace. I choose patience.


In life, we have many choices to make. One of the most important choices we can make is how to preserve our inner peace no matter our circumstances.


Sometimes, we react to situations in an automatic way, based on past programming. These automatic reactions come from years of conditioning and learning.


As we reach to become our authentic selves, and to live our lives in a peaceful manner, we can consciously choose to change our habits.


This means, if we react in a way that is less than optimal, we take responsibility for our actions, we make amends, and we apologize if we have hurt someone.


We all make mistakes. It's only human to do so. When we do, we can handle it the right way, and endeavor to do better next time.


In this life, we are constantly on a journey of improving ourselves. Each time, we can do a little better, until finally we reach where we want to be.


With time and practice, we learn to be more kind and compassionate humans. Along the journey, it is important to be patient with yourself. No sweeping change is going to happen overnight.


When we work on changing our programming, our reactions and our limiting beliefs, these are things deeply ingrained within our psyche. So, changing them will take time and effort.


Know that it will be worth it in the end. The person you want to be, that can be your future. Just work every day to make yourself more and more aligned to your highest self.
