Finding Gratitude this Holiday Season

This holiday season, there is so much that we can be grateful for every day. Our kids and families, our health, our healing and peace. There are reasons to celebrate with love and kindness.

Not everyone has everything that they need, and the holiday season can highlight this for them. There are people who have gone through a loss, people who are alone, people estranged from their families, people who are homeless.

All of them don't have reasons to feel happy or joyful this holiday, so it is important to be extra kind to everyone that we come in contact with this holiday season.

If you have a roof over your head, and a loving family, you have so much to be grateful for. You have so much more than so many other people have.

It is important to take some time to feel the gratitude for your life deep in your heart.

It can be easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season that we forget to really celebrate what is important. We can get caught in the flurry of shopping, parties and activity and get stressed.

We need to remember to take time for self-care too.

If you journal about gratitude, it is a great form of self-care and can make you feel so much better about yourself and your life. Gratitude helps us to go inward, to love ourselves and those around us more. It radiates outward into the world in the form of kindness, too.

When you feel happy and blessed, it puts you into a better space to be able to show love and care for others.

So gratitude is a gift that you give not only to yourself, but to everyone in your life.

I wish you all a bright and blessed holiday, my lovelies. I hope that you have so much to be grateful for that your lives are overflowing!
