Life Hack: Cleaning Upholstery

Updated: Oct 22, 2021

Kids forever wanting to eat in the living room, so they can be part of the action with everyone else. The problem with this, is frequent spills.

If you are anything like me, you want your house to look staying nice, and not like a tornado just ran through it.

Here is a life hack I have learned to make that much easier!

Mommas, you can clean up spills off of any upholstered surface with carpet cleaner and a scrub brush, with these six easy steps:

  1. Spray the stained spot with carpet cleaner

  2. Wet your scrub brush slightly

  3. Scrub the spot

  4. Spray again

  5. Wait 10 minutes

  6. Scrub again

Then viola! It's like magic, the spot will be clean!

This has even worked for tough to get out stains like nail polish, paint, and every food my kids have thought of to spill.

The only thing is, when you buy the carpet cleaner, make sure that it DOES NOT contain Bleach. The bleach will ruin your furniture (and probably the clothes you are wearing too).

Check out my step-by-step video to see this in action, then let me know in the comments how it worked out for you!
