You can be anything that you set your mind to, and it is never too late to reinvent yourself again. You aren't too old, you aren't too young, you aren't too fat or too poor or too... whatever it is you think that you are.
You aren't your limiting beliefs.
You aren't all the excuses in your mind.
You aren't all those things people have told you that you are.
You are the creator of your life.
You are a sacred being of light, capable of doing anything.
You are a caterpillar in its cocoon waiting to become a butterfly.
You are going to transform, and be able to fly.
Beautiful soul, whatever is holding you back is a block in your own mind. It is something you have been told in the past that has become encoded inside you for so long that you believe it to be true. But not everything other people tell you about yourself is true. In fact, I would say most of it is a load of crap.
People have trouble believing the best in you, because they don't believe in the best in themselves. They want to tear you down and make you small, either consciously or unconsciously, because they are afraid that they are small.
The thing is though, we all have the potential for greatness inside, we just have to reach down and find it. We have to reach past all those lies and limiting beliefs to find the truth of ourselves. We need to find who we are at our core.
Our true nature is beautiful and bright. We are beings of love and light. We possess infinite compassion, love, truth and wisdom.
Wake up beautiful soul, wake up from the dream you have been having where you are small, and life is so difficult. That is all it is. A dream. A dream that is stuck on repeat because it is where you think that you should live. But it isn't.
Stop living in a cardboard box when you are supposed to be living in a penthouse.
Remember who you really are. Remember that you are an angelic soul with angelic wings. Remember that you can fly. Remember that anything is possible for you.
Anything is possible for you.
You can reinvent yourself as many times as you need to in order to be able to get it right. I have. I have consciously reinvented myself several times over the years, and unconsciously reinvented myself too. Our lives are the result of our beliefs.
You become what you believe that you are.
When you learn to believe that you are beautiful, that you are worthy, that you are strong, that you are loved... you become all of those beautiful things. You can rise up and transcend all of the things that you think badly about yourself and come into your true nature.
Let go of the past.
You don't live there anymore. Regretting won't change things, it won't bring back people or things that aren't in your life anymore. It won't change situations that have happened where you didn't do your best. You need to forgive and move on.
Forgive yourself for being a smaller version of yourself.
You did the best you could with the tools that you had at the time. The thing is, there are other tools out there. There are other tools within yourself that are at your disposal. The more you grow and learn, the more you have to work with. And it is your mind and your heart that are your greatest resources.
Forget about money, status and asking other people to help you. You don't need help. You don't need to be codependent. You can be like Miley and buy your own damn flowers. You don't need someone else to do it for you. You have the power right now to change yourself and your life. You are strong. You can do it.
You can walk away from any situation that isn't serving you.
You can move forward. You can go any direction that you want to go. If it is a new job, a new house, a new relationship, or something else that you want to change, you can do it! But first you have to decide. You have to leave behind the old life that doesn't fit with the new version of you that you want to become.
It is always ok to make a change. Nothing lasts forever, it isn't meant to. Our experience is transitory. We are constantly growing, changing and evolving. Life moves through seasons. You can see it in nature, and it is true in your life too. Sometimes you have to leave something behind to find something better.
It is scary, I know that. It is scary to leave everything you know, even if what you know is something that is killing you.
11 years ago I left my marriage, and it was one of the hardest things that I ever had to do. But I knew that if I didn't leave I was going to die. I had been abused, and I had hated myself so much for not leaving that I tried to commit suicide multiple times to get away from a relationship and a version of myself that I felt trapped with.
It started with watching that movie Labyrinth. There is this line that the heroine says at the end to the villian:
You have no power over me.
When you realize that, when you realize that no one else really has any power over you, that is the moment that you can finally set yourself free. In order to do that, you have to start believing in yourself and your own power. You have to believe that you are strong, and that you are worth it. Then, you can work on starting to get free.
Sometimes getting free is like getting out of a labyrinth. There are twists and turns and dead ends. Sometimes you have to go back and take a different path. Sometimes there are obstacles. Sometimes you meet friends along the way who either help you or disappoint you. But ultimately, the thing that matters is that you keep going. That you keep looking for the way out.
As long as you keep looking for a different way, you are bound to find it. It just takes time, patience and methodical analysis. You need to figure out how not to go back a way that you have already gone. You need to mark out where you need to go next. It is like making your own map and compass for life.
You know where you are, you know where you want to go, you just may not know what you need to do to get there. And that's ok.
It depends on your dream, it depends on where you want to go in life, but if you are careful and you plan, if you do the research and put in the effort, you can get to where you want to go. And you will be so much stronger when you get there.
Keep going babe. Keep your chin up. You will get to where you want to go, and you will become the version of yourself that you want to be.
