Daily Positive Affirmations. I accept myself as I am. I know that healing isn't linear.
Many of us have scars from the past that we are trying to heal. In this process, it is important to have acceptance of where we are. We will have good days and bad days.
Healing doesn't happen all at once, and it isn't always linear. We can be doing well for a while, and then find a new stumbling block or limiting belief.
When this happens, we accept that we are still healing. Then, we work on what is in front of us, using healing tools that we have learned in the past.
We are all in a state of constant evolution as people. We are constantly growing, learning and changing, along this journey towards who we are meant to be.
During this journey, self-acceptance is crucial. No matter how we may be doing otherwise.
If we don't accept ourselves the way we are, then we are battling against ourselves, in addition to struggling with our circumstances. This makes every problem more difficult.
When you stop fighting against yourself, and choose acceptance, then problems become easier to solve. This is because we are only trying to solve the original problem, instead of layering on guilt about the problem.
We all have good days and bad days. It is important to accept that too, and to be kind and gentle to yourself along the way.
If you are coping with a difficult situation, remember all you have learned up until now. Use your coping skills. Use meditation, mindfulness, yoga or journaling. Find ways to get in tune with yourself. Breathe deeply.
Remember, in life like in yoga, you can always return to your breath, and it will calm you. Just close your eyes and breathe.
Once you find that calm center inside yourself, your circumstances will be much easier to handle.
